temperature of the water we swim in is a much discussed subject.
In summer 2017 it got as high as 21°c and in early 2018 as
low as 1.1°c thanks to the Beast from the East. Many measurements are
taken with a variety of thermometers
and the one thing you can rely on is that none of them will return the
same reading. This page gives you a couple of 'official'
sources of water temperature in the Thames and some links to other
information. If none of this is of interest to you then
perhaps all you need to know is that in the summer months the water can
be described as 'lovely' and in the winter months as 'not as
warm as we would like'.
